How to create a meaningful dating profile
Your profile is an introduction to the person behind the photos. A few thoughtful details can help someone find a genuine reason to say hello, while leaving private information for a later conversation.
Choose three clear photos of yourself
WithYou requires at least three accepted profile photos showing a clear, real person. Choose recent photos in good lighting that help someone recognise you. Objects, scenery, drawings and group photos do not count as profile photos.
Photo screening and live selfie matching are separate checks. A live selfie match checks liveness and similarity to profile photos; it does not establish legal identity or guarantee someone's conduct.
Write a bio that sounds like you
Give a small glimpse of your ordinary life: a favourite weekend routine, something you enjoy learning or an activity you would like to share. A concrete detail gives someone an easier starting point than a string of adjectives.
Describe what you are hoping to find in a relationship. You can be warm and specific without sharing your home address, workplace access details or private contact information.
Make your prompts conversation starters
Use the three personality prompts to show different sides of yourself. One answer could describe a little joy, another something you value, and another a question you would enjoy discussing.
If you choose to add a voice introduction, keep it short and natural. Say something you would be comfortable sharing with someone seeing your profile for the first time. Review it before choosing to make it visible.
Choose who can see your profile
Discovery visibility and a public shareable profile are separate settings. A public profile may be viewed outside WithYou and found by search engines. Only enable public sharing if you are comfortable with that audience.
Use the completion guidance to decide what to add next. A completion score describes filled-in profile sections, rather than identity, trustworthiness or compatibility. Keep your photos, preferences and story up to date as your life changes.
